Al and Autumn Ray have been married 36 years and are certified Marriage Enrichment leaders and PREPARE/ENRICH Seminar Directors. They have led marriage enrichment weekends and taught numerous marriage and parenting classes. Together they founded MarriageTeam to help couples in their community experience more fulfilling marriages through coaching. Al has a Master's degree in Counseling and Human Development. He is a retired Air Force colonel who led the ROTC program at the University of Portland during his last assignment. He was the Training and Organizational Development Manager for Multnomah County, but left in April 2007 to serve as the Executive Director for MarriageTeam. Autumn is a graduate of Excelsior College with a degree emphasis on social work. She is a Certified Volunteer Administrator, a Volunteer Manager trainer, and a past President of the Northern Oregon Volunteer Administrator's Association (NOVAA). She is currently the Volunteer Program Manager for the Multnomah County Department of Community Justice as well as the President of MarriageTeam. Together Al and Autumn lead the marriage coaching ministry at their church, train other coach couples for MarriageTeam in the Vancouver and Portland area, and help communities develop effective MarriageTeam coaching programs. |

Michael R. Burgoyne (ChFC, CFP) is the President of Laurus Wealth Management, LLC. He works with personal and corporate clients to manage their investment portfolios and to define and refine their financial objectives. He has been in this field since 1981 and holds numerous financial industry licenses and designations including the Certified Financial Planner. Michael’s degree is in business administration with emphasis on accounting and economics from City University where he graduated with Presidential Honors. His professional affiliations past and present include: Financial Planning Association, Society of Financial Service Professionals, American Bankers Association, Western Independent Bankers, Association of Western Securities Management and Northwest Securities Management Association. Michael is also on the board of directors for DELTA Ministries Intl. Michael is married to Denise and they are the proud parents of twin boys, Andrew and Zachary. |

Judy Douglas has been married to her husband Bill for 35 years. They are active coaches and have lead the pre-marital coaching program from the beginning. They have three grown children and five grandchildren. Over the years, Judy has worked in a variety of secretarial positions. In 1988, when their children were all in school, Bill and Judy purchased a franchise chain of retail stores that sold sports team apparel and collectibles. They owned a total of five stores before selling the business in 1995. At that time, Judy went to work for the Evergreen School District as a Para-educator for the ELL Department at Evergreen High School. Volunteer work has always been important to her. She has worked on a Hospital Guild, in her children’s schools, taught Sunday school and served on her church Christian Education Board and Caring Board. She and Bill have been involved as a marriage coach couple for the past five years and led the pre-marital coaching program. |

George Lester is now retired, having spent the last 10 years as a Mortgage Broker. After a two-year hitch in the army, he entered college where he received a history degree. While in college, George worked for a major grocery chain, and after graduating from college, he entered their manager trainee program. Upon completion of this training, he managed a grocery store for three years. George also spent a number of years as a licensed stockbroker and then bought an arts and custom frame shop, which he owned and managed for 11 years. George is the father of two sons and two adopted Asian daughters. He and his wife Dorothy are active MarriageTeam coaches. |

Dorothy Lester is now retired after spending thirty years with a life insurance company, starting out as a district secretary and advancing to office manager and retiring in June of 2000. Since retirement, she has worked at various jobs, including on call employment for the Camas School District. She also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and keeping up with their activities. Dorothy began working as a secretary in high school and after high school attended Business College to complete her business training. She worked until her first daughter was born, taking a few years off to raise her three daughters. Over the years Dorothy has enjoyed going back to school to keep her business skills updated and learning new things. She also enjoys sewing, reading, and is currently involved in a quilting group. Dorothy is an active MarriageTeam coach with her husband George. |

Daniel L. McAuley (BS, MS in education) is a retired educator living in Vancouver, Washington, with his wife, Marilyn, of 42 years. They are active MarriageTeam coaches and have 3 children, six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dan began his career in education teaching in the elementary grades, and then moved into a specialty of education for the deaf. After 5 years in that field he became a supervisor of a state operated regional special needs program in the Portland area. Then he moved into school administrative roles in the District central office. He ended his career with 13 years as Director of Special Services in a suburban district. After retirement Dan taught several courses in Community Colleges and then became a staff adjunct with Western Baptist College, now known as Corban College. He has taught many courses in both Family Studies and in Management and Communication over the last 11 years. Dan and Marilyn have been Marriage Coaches with the MarriageTeam for 5 years and have seen the benefit such coaching has accomplished in the relationships of couples they have assisted.

Dennis Blevins grew up in the south, learning from his parents about the truth of the Bible. After High School, he was accepted into Bible College in Chicago where he studied for a General Bible Degree. In 1968, he was inducted into the US Navy during the Viet Nam conflict and was introduced to the Navigator Ministry. After the Navy, he completed a Degree in Business Administration at Point Loma College in San Diego and joined the staff of the Navigators. He served on the Campus of San Diego State for six years and then the University of Oregon for seven years. In 1989, the Navigators formed a joint venture with Multnomah Bible College and began Mission Portland. Dennis came to oversee this ministry and continues to network with this ministry to this day. During the last 11 years, he has served with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Promise Keepers, Logos II, and the Luis Palau Evangelistic Association. More recently, he serves as Executive Pastor at Greater Portland Bible Church. Currently Dennis coaches leaders and pastors across the country in over 40 states. He also works with the Navigators, T-Net International and Ministry Coaching International. His wife of 30 years, Mary Jane, and Dennis live in Gladstone, Oregon. Their daughters Regina and Rebecca live in Portland and Andrea is serving in a ministry in Tennessee. |

John Fortmeyer is publisher and editor of the Christian News Northwest newspaper which is based in Newberg, OR. A native of Seattle, he graduated in communications from Seattle Pacific University in 1977 and edited the campus paper there. He spent the next 17 years as an editor and reporter for several small daily and weekly newspapers in Washington and Oregon before launching Christian News Northwest in 1994. It has a monthly circulation of 32,000 copies throughout western and central Oregon and southwest Washington. Christian News Northwest tied with two other newspapers for second place among the nation's best Christian newspapers in the 2005 Evangelical Press Association (EPA) contest. John is a member of the board for the Fellowship of Christian Newspapers, a subgroup within EPA. He also spent several years as director of public information for George Fox University in Oregon. John and his wife, Sandy, were married in 1983 and have four children and one granddaughter. John and Sandy are members of Newberg Church of the Nazarene. |

Dr. Steve Stephens has a Masters in Counseling and Pastoral Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. He is a clinical member of American Psychological Association and American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Steve is a licensed psychologist and has been working with marriages, families, and individuals for over 20 years. Steve is the author of 16 books including “20 Amazing Rules and Tools for a Great Marriage” and the “Lists to Live By” series, which currently has 750,000 copies in print. He has been an elder at his church for the past five years and has taught an Adult Sunday School class for the past 15 years. Steve was a radio talk show host, with approximately 1000 hours on air on KPDQ (the largest Christian radio station in northwest Oregon and southwest Washington). He interviewed guests such as Shirley Dobson, John Trent, Gary Chapman, Stormie O’Martian, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Joshua Harris, Steve Brown, Kevin Leman, Les Parrott, Norm Wright, Gary Smalley, Stu Weber, and Dennis Rainey. He is a popular seminar speaker on marriage and parenting and is the Chairman of Every Marriage Matters, a Community Marriage Policy Committee for Clackamas County. Steve has been married for 20 years and has three children. |
