MarriageTeam works closely with pastors and counselors because coaching may not be the best approach for all marriages. Coaching is most effective when both the husband and the wife want to change and are capable of making and keeping agreements with each other. This is a proven strategy and was the subject of a Masters’ Thesis at Warner Pacific College.
In addition, Life Innovations, authors of the internationally acclaimed PREPARE/ENRICH relationship inventory conducted an independent study on MarriageTeam results. It found that couples who completed coaching reported a 196% improvement in communications and 145% improvement in conflict resolution. We have found that most couples do extremely well with coaching, which includes couples who are considering divorce. Of those couples considering divorce, over 90% decide not to divorce after completing coaching. There are numerous testimonials, many of whom were on the verge of divorce.
We can’t guarantee everyone will get similar results, but we do have a money back guarantee (less materials and inventory costs), if a couple believes they did not get their money’s worth from their coaching experience and puts it in writing to us.
We welcome the opportunity to work with you to provide very affordable marriage coaching with well trained Christian couples. We can also train couples in your congregation to be marriage coaches and work with the couples you refer. Marriage coaching is available in most states with Skype, but currently services are not offered in California, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, New Mexico, Ohio, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia or Wyoming.
